Results from The Fall Feathered Classic

Stillwater Farm was well represented in Perry this year.

We have some exciting news!

Vintage Vanners has agreed to sell us their 2013 colt out of Zanna and Don King.  V. V. Bacio Divino  Bacio is one of those colts that just take your breath away.  As a breeder we look for that special aha moment with the new babies.  Bacio has that and more.

Halter Gypsy Vanner vs. Performance Gypsy Vanner

Does this picture make my butt look big?

Can a winning halter horse be a winning performance horse among Gypsy Vanners?  There is quite a bit of debate regarding the ideal weight of a mature Gypsy Vanner.  Stillwater Farm believes the ideal weight is determined by the horse's discipline and type.  A big heavy traditional broodmare maintains a different weight than a working performance Gypsy Vanner.  We have both here at the farm.  But we breed a more modern performance Gypsy Vanner.  They need to move!
