Pictures of Staffan took my breath away when I first saw her.  She is so elegant and feminine, yet strong and solid.  Straffan has excellent bone and feather.  Her temperament is fabulous.  As a first time mother, we took her and her six week old colt, Da Vinci, to the Horse Expo in Raleigh, NC.  She was so calm and a perfect mother.  After walking through the vendors aisles with baby not too far behind, she exhibited in the arena.  She was never nervous or fretful and seemed perfectly relaxed even in the hectic Expo ordered confusion.  Staffan was a perfect mother.  She has since been trained under saddle and also to drive.  Straffan is a wonderful representative of the breed and will be able to cross disciplines easily.
