Summer is Almost Here

The grass is finally turning green and the babies are growing like weeds!  We just posted new pictures of Blue My Mind.  He continues to blow our minds.  We just clipped him to see what was under all the curly hair and voila!  Look at that head.  Have you ever seen such a pretty head on a colt.  Of course he is sired by Deja Blue and out of our very special Annie Rose (cover girl for Mark Barrett's 2011 calendar).  Mark is coming out for a photo shoot the first week in June and we will have updated pictures on all of your favorites.  If you are in planning a road trip this summer, try to include some time to come for a visit.  We would love to show you the horses that make our lives so fun!  (and busy!)

We have a couple of surprises to let you know about.  shhhhhh!  Not just yet!  You will have to wait a little while longer.

Mia and Pia continue their training for the 2011 show season.  Mia will be shown in the Green Horse riding divisions at the shows.  "Green Horse" means a horse in their first year of showing in a particular discipline and this will be her first time under saddle at a show.  Pia is still too young to ride this year.  But, she will be making her debut under saddle next year.  Summer Rose is back at home and working hard.   She is more than a pretty face!  She shows in English, Western, and Dressage.  Who knows, maybe it is driving next for Summer Rose.  Summer is bred to DJ for a 2012 baby.  This will be her first baby and we are extremely excited to see what the Champion of Champions will produce.  Hopefully, it will be a mini champion in the making.

In addition, Tia, Annie Rose, and Poppy are in foal for 2012.  If you are interested in a quality Gypsy Vanner from a proven and experienced barn consider a Stillwater Gypsy Vanner.  We guarantee our horses and you get our special Concierge Service which includes access to top trainers and breeding specialists.  We ship semen and also have onsite breeding services available to approved Gypsy mares.

See you at the show next weekend in Springfield, MO!  Wish us luck.
