Puccini

Gender: Gelding
Date of Birth: 3/23/2009
Registered Name: SWF Puccini

Puccini is our mare, Poppy's, first baby born in the US.  Poppy was imported with very little known of her background.  But what we knew was her quality when we saw it.  She has passed on her enormous size to this little guy who is now taller than his buddy, Da Vinci, who is a year older!  Puccini is classic in his tempermanent, bone, color, and feather.  He was big when born and he will be a large horse when grown.  He is tremendously well built.  His sire is a Gypsy King son, The King's Good Friday aka Friday.  This is Friday's first baby on the ground and his momma, Rhonda Cofer, is so proud!  Friday has one of the best temperaments we have ever seen hands down and his first son is following in his footsteps.  Puccini has been out with Da Vinci this winter but is getting ready to come back in for ground training.  He is just loaded with personality and we are all looking forward to working with him.  This was an excellent cross for Poppy (Gypsy King) and she is bred to our Gypsy King bred stallion, Deja Blue, for a 2011 baby.  When you hear of a "classic" vanner Poppy and Puccini are what you think of.  They have great temperament, good bone, substance, and are characteristic of what you expect to see in the breed. There are no classifications of height for a Gypsy Vanner.  The breed standard ranges in height from 13.2 hands to 15.2 hands.  Puccini will be on the taller end of the scale.  Let me know if you have any questions about the boy.
